Tragic Fishing Accident Claims Life of Young Crew Member
Gloucester, MA – A tragic accident off the North Shore claimed the life of a 26-year-old fisherman, Jaxson Marston, on Friday. Marston, along with another crew member, sustained critical injuries after being struck by a snapped rope aboard the fishing vessel "25 TO LIFE." The U.S. Coast Guard received an emergency call at approximately 4 p.m. regarding the incident, which occurred about 25 miles east of Nahant.
Rescue teams swiftly responded, with boats and a helicopter dispatched to the scene. The injured crew members were transported back to Gloucester, where they received medical attention.
