Local High School Sports Round-Up: Key Wins Across Various Sports

In an exciting day of high school sports across multiple leagues, several teams showcased impressive performances.

Baseball Highlights
In Bay State Conference action, Braintree High School defeated Brookline High School 4-2, while Milton High School outshined Framingham High School with a commanding 6-0 victory. Algonquin Regional secured a tight win against Wellesley High School, finishing 2-1. Other notable scores included Greenfield High School’s dominant 13-4 win over Athol High School in the Bi-County North league.

Boys Lacrosse
Wellesley High School triumphed over Braintree High School 15-8, and Natick High School claimed victory against Brookline with a score of 17-8. In a significant Catholic Conference matchup, St. John’s Prep decisively beat Saint John’s High School of Shrewsbury 18-3.

Girls Lacrosse Dominance
Walpole High School showcased their strength with an 18-5 win over Weymouth, and Wellesley High School also impressed, defeating Braintree 21-4. Milton High School fell short against Needham, losing 19-7.

Girls Golf
Framingham faced a tough match against Needham, losing 6-0, while Braintree experienced a similar fate against Weymouth.

Boys Volleyball
