Aspen, CO – The iconic Nantucket resort chain, White Elephant, is expanding westward with the highly anticipated opening of White Elephant Aspen in late fall 2025. Situated in the vibrant West End neighborhood, the 54-room hotel will be steps away from downtown and key cultural institutions like the Aspen Institute and Benedict Music Tent.
Designed by Boston-based EMBARC, the hotel will feature an “alpine-chic” aesthetic, blending modern design with rustic mountain elements. Guests can expect familiar touches from Nantucket, such as the brass elephant trunk lobby desk and bespoke artwork, including over 125 original works from renowned artists.
The hotel will house the signature Lola 41 restaurant, known for its seafood and sushi, and offer amenities like a year-round heated pool, hot tubs, and outdoor fire pits. Accommodations will include a luxurious penthouse suite with stunning views and ample living space.
With White Elephant’s commitment to art and culture, the Aspen location will also collaborate with the Anderson Ranch Arts Center to host creative programming. With activities ranging from skiing in winter to hiking in summer, White Elephant Aspen aims to become a top destination for travelers seeking a blend of luxury and outdoor adventure.
