Massachusetts Lottery Player Hits $100,000 Jackpot with New Scratch Ticket
A Massachusetts resident celebrated a significant windfall on Monday, claiming a $100,000 prize from a brand-new scratch ticket game. The lucky ticket, purchased from Costa’s Mini Mart in New Bedford, was part of the recently launched “$15,000,000 Colossal Millions” scratch-off game, which was introduced on April 15.
As of May 13, the game still has all three of its $15 million grand prizes and seven $1 million prizes unclaimed. On the same day the winner was announced, the Massachusetts State Lottery reported that a total of 791 prizes worth $600 or more were awarded throughout the state, with 20 in Springfield, 20 in Worcester, and 68 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery regularly updates the public with a list of winning tickets, which includes only those with values exceeding $600. Notably, the two largest lottery winnings recorded in 2025 thus far were each worth $15 million, coming from a “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket sold in Holyoke and a “300X” ticket sold on Cape Cod. The excitement surrounding recent lottery games continues to grow among eager players.
