East Bridgewater secured a significant 6-3 win against Dennis-Yarmouth in baseball, thanks to Ryan Barrett’s complete game and key contributions from Devon Blair and Collin Meserve. Shawsheen continued its unbeaten streak at 18-0, defeating Concord-Carlisle 9-1, led by Will Holloway’s impressive four RBI. Abington’s Ben Tracey pitched a complete game shutout in a 2-0 victory over Monomoy, while Arlington Catholic triumphed 9-6 over Manchester Essex.
In boys lacrosse, Abington clinched a thrilling 10-9 overtime victory against Sandwich, with Mike Reilly netting the decisive goal. Braintree and Apponequet also found success, winning their respective games decisively. Meanwhile, the girls’ teams showcased talent, with Reese Bromby’s four goals helping Newburyport claim the Cape Ann League title.
In softball, standout performances included Ella Franey’s three-run homer for East Bridgewater and impressive outings from Kasey Pomfret and Monique Kelley across the league. Lynn Classical’s Aliany Ramirez excelled with a 17-3 win over Chelsea.
