Press Release: New York Man Charged with Assaulting Minor
Brockton, MA – A 20-year-old man from Poughkeepsie, New York, has been charged with multiple offenses involving a child under 14. Justin Flores faces serious allegations, including the rape of a child, enticement of a minor, and indecent assault and battery. The charges stem from claims that Flores met the minor online and subsequently sexually assaulted the child on two occasions.
Flores appeared in Brockton District Court, where he pleaded not guilty to all charges. He is currently being held on $75,000 cash bail, with a court order barring any contact with the victim. The Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz confirmed that the Abington Police Department is actively pursuing an investigation into the matter.
Flores was apprehended at Logan International Airport after police obtained a warrant based on their findings regarding the online and physical encounters with the minor. His next court appearance is scheduled for June 13, as authorities continue to address this serious case. The incident highlights ongoing concerns about the safety of children in the digital age.
