Paris Court Nears Verdict in Kim Kardashian’s Infamous 2016 Robbery Case
A Paris court is set to deliver its verdict today in the high-profile case surrounding the audacious robbery of Kim Kardashian in 2016. Nine men and one woman are charged with orchestrating the luxurious heist during Paris Fashion Week, where a group of armed, masked individuals stormed Kardashian’s residence, binding her with zip ties and stealing $6 million worth of jewelry.
Central to the trial is ringleader Aomar Aït Khedache, a 70-year-old with a history in the Parisian criminal underworld. Known colloquially as “les papys braqueurs” or “the grandpa robbers,” the defendants presented an elderly appearance in court, despite facing serious charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. Prosecutors urged against judging them by appearances, asserting their extensive criminal involvement.
