FBI Investigating Cocaine Incident at Biden White House and Leak of Abortion Opinion

Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino has announced the reopening of investigations into several high-profile cases of potential public corruption, which he deemed important for public interest. These cases include the cocaine incident that occurred in former President Joe Biden’s White House in 2023, the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion from 2022 that sought to overturn Roe v. Wade, and the planting of pipe bombs near the Republican and Democratic national committee headquarters ahead of the January 2021 Capitol riot.

Bongino revealed this update in a post on X, noting that he and FBI Director Kash Patel had agreed on directing more resources towards these investigations. Claiming they are making progress, Bongino has requested weekly briefings on these matters.

Specifically, the investigation into the cocaine incident concluded in July 2023 without identifying a suspect, largely due to a lack of physical evidence, which raised significant concerns among Republicans. Rep. James Comer expressed discontent, emphasizing that illicit drugs in the White House mark a troubling chapter in its history.

Additionally, the leak of the Supreme Court draft decision prior to its official announcement has raised questions that remain unresolved. Retired Justice Stephen Breyer, reflecting on the event, offered theories on the leak but refrained from attributing it to any specific individual, expressing skepticism that it could have come from a judge.

This renewed focus by the FBI on these investigations underscores a commitment to transparency and accountability at a time when public trust in government institutions is critically important. Bongino’s announcements have sparked discussions about the implications of these cases in the broader context of public governance.
