Westfield High School Show Choir Shines at Music in the Parks Festival
WESTFIELD — The Westfield High School Show Choir returned from the Hershey Park Music in the Parks Festival with a remarkable set of accolades. This year marked their second attendance at the prestigious event, and their hard work paid off as they competed in four categories: Concert Choir, Women’s Chorus, Men’s Choir, and Show Choir.
Under the direction of Korey Bruno, the choir secured Superior first place in three of those categories, alongside a Superior second place in one, showcasing their talent and dedication. Eighteen members participated in the trip, including standout performers Asher Avary, Aaron Boyd, and Katrina Burke, among others.
Bruno expressed pride in the students’ accomplishments, stating, “The choir had a fantastic time during competition in Hershey. As usual, our students represented Westfield High School and the city of Westfield with pride and class.” The Show Choir’s success not only highlights their musical abilities but also fosters community spirit and school pride. The choir’s continued achievements affirm its growing reputation on a competitive stage.
