Molly Bogin Celebrates Musical Journey with Debut EP "Attachment Cycle"
SPRINGFIELD – Springfield native and singer-songwriter Molly Bogin is set to release her first full-length music project, "Attachment Cycle," on May 29. Growing up in a musically inclined household, where both parents participated in community theater, Bogin’s passion for music flourished from an early age. Influenced by jazz, gospel, and Motown, she honed her craft through piano lessons and performances at local events.
After graduating from Springfield Central High School in 2014, Bogin pursued neuroscience at Wellesley College with plans for medical school. However, her musical aspirations led her to New York and Los Angeles, where she further developed her songwriting skills, collaborating extensively with her producer and boyfriend, Will Saulsky.
"Attachment Cycle" features seven tracks reflecting themes of love, loss, and independence. Bogin explains that the album’s narrative, while not strictly linear, encapsulates the ebb and flow of relationships, culminating in the upbeat track "Dancing in the Rain." As she transitions back to Springfield for her Master of Social Work at Smith College, Bogin is also eyeing concert dates in the region. Fans can follow her journey on Instagram @mollyrosebogin.
