Bridgewater-Raynham Triumphs in Div. 1 Baseball Preliminary Round
Bridgewater-Raynham, ranked No. 27, showcased a stunning performance in the Div. 1 baseball preliminary round, defeating No. 38 Lynn English 4-0. Owen King pitched a two-hitter, while Quinlan Keefe contributed significantly, finishing 2-for-2 with a home run. In another thrilling matchup, Tewksbury (No. 27) triumphed over Nipmuc 3-1 with Collin Durkin pitching a complete game in the Div. 3 preliminary round.
Boys’ lacrosse saw No. 30 Milford dominate No. 35 Lunenburg, winning 14-1, thanks to Robbie DeGasperis’s six goals. In girls’ lacrosse, Ipswich excelled, securing an 18-0 victory against Old Colony, with Allie Wile, Ella McCarthy, and Lyla Greenleaf leading the offensive charge.
On the softball field, Belmont edged Diman 5-4, while West Bridgewater narrowly defeated Old Colony 6-5.
