Press Release: Upcoming Church Events Across the Region
Various churches across the region are hosting events and services aimed at bringing communities together this summer.
Sunderland: The First Congregational Church hosts its Serendipity Shop every Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., offering bargain-priced items. Weekly Sunday services are at 11 a.m., available in-person or via Zoom. For inquiries, email scc1717@wordpress.com.
Holyoke: St. Peter’s Lutheran Church holds a variety of services including Sunday worship at 9:30 a.m., Bible Study on Mondays, and prayers with the pastor on Wednesdays. Located at 34 Jarvis Ave, the church’s Thursday evening worship is also open to all.
Wilbraham: On June 7, the Wilbraham United Church will host its summer crafts and arts fair. The church also offers Sunday services at 10 a.m. with communion on the first Sunday of every month, followed by a Friendship gathering.
Agawam: Sacred Heart Parish will honor St. Anthony of Padua with a Mass on June 13 at 9 a.m. A Polish food sale takes place at Immaculate Conception Church on June 14, featuring traditional dishes. Additionally, St. John the Evangelist Church will offer adoration every Wednesday.
Southwick: The Southwick Congregational Church’s annual Strawberry Supper on June 14 includes a menu of ham, baked beans, and strawberry shortcake. Reservations can be made by calling their office.
Springfield: South Congregational Church invites attendees for worship every Sunday at 10 a.m. and offers various community programs. Christ Church Cathedral holds services every Sunday at multiple times, including a healing service on the first Sunday of each month.
