The pair met in April 2025 while filming the reality show and quickly formed a close bond. Initially, neither was seeking romance, but spent their time in the Big Brother house lifting each other’s spirits. “We were having a laugh together. Whenever one of us was down, the other helped,” recalled Siwa.

Siwa confirmed their relationship during a June 2 interview, stating, “It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development.” A recent social media post by Hughes, featuring a cuddly selfie of the couple, sparked rumors that their friendship had evolved into something deeper.
