In a thrilling weekend of regional playoff action, the baseball and softball scenes delivered exceptional performances across divisions.
In baseball, No. 4 Walpole triumphed over fifth-seeded Mansfield with a dramatic 2-1 victory, powered by Drew Cantrell’s game-winning hit in the 12th inning. Meanwhile, No. 6 Somerset Berkley routed No. 14 Milford 9-2, bolstered by Kyle Sherman’s complete-game pitching effort and key contributions from Liam Meehan and Alex Crook.
