In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen offered high praise for New England Patriots’ young quarterback Drake Maye, citing his potential and the veteran presence of new Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs. “Drake brings security to the position and embodies what football is all about,” Allen remarked, highlighting a budding rapport between the two quarterbacks.
Maye, who was compared to Allen during the 2024 NFL Draft before being selected third overall, shares similarities in play style and physicality. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 225 pounds, Maye has a strong arm and a penchant for running the ball aggressively—traits that Allen has exemplified during his own rise to stardom.
