"Cobra Kai" Actor Martin Kove Allegedly Bites Co-Star at Summer Con
In a shocking incident during a VIP meet-and-greet at Summer Con in Puyallup, Washington, "Cobra Kai" actor Martin Kove is accused of biting his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim on the arm, nearly drawing blood. According to a police report, Hannah-Kim, 42, tapped Kove on the shoulder to greet him when he unexpectedly grabbed her arm and bit down hard.
In her handwritten statement, Hannah-Kim recounted, “I yelped and drew back, and then he grabbed my arm again to kiss it.” She quickly retreated to her table and later flagged down a police officer present at the event to report the assault. The officer observed a clear bite mark on her arm that was beginning to bruise.
Hannah-Kim informed the officer that she confided in her husband about the incident and they confronted Kove, who allegedly "exploded on them," asserting he had done nothing wrong. When the officer approached Kove, 78, he reportedly admitted to the bite, claiming it was intended as a joke stemming from their playful interactions on set.
Despite the alarming nature of the incident, Hannah-Kim declined to pursue charges, requesting that the altercation be documented for future reference. Following the confrontation, Kove was asked to leave the event.
Kove is best known for his role as John Kreese in the "Karate Kid" franchise and its Netflix series "Cobra Kai," while Hannah-Kim portrayed Kim Da-Eun. Representatives for Kove, Hannah-Kim, and Netflix have yet to respond to requests for comments.
