UNC Players Dismiss Distractions Amid Bill Belichick’s Personal Headlines

Sophomore wide receiver Jordan Shipp addressed the media at the ACC Media Days in Charlotte, dismissing the noise surrounding Belichick’s personal life. “Social media can promote some narrative, but that was not a distraction to us at all,” Shipp stated, adding that rumors suggesting Hudson was involved in team practices were unfounded. “We support Coach B no matter what he’s doing. It was never an issue.”
Quarterback Gio Lopez, who transferred from South Alabama, echoed Shipp’s sentiments. He just does his job,” Lopez noted.
