Dog Saves Owner from Aggressive Encounter in Rockland Town Forest
Rockland, MA – A woman walking her dog in the Rockland Town Forest experienced a frightening encounter on Wednesday when a man allegedly made inappropriate comments before grabbing her arm. According to the Rockland Police, the woman managed to escape the situation with help from her dog, which lunged at the man and prompted him to release her. The woman then hurried back to her car.
Police describe the suspect as a white male in his 50s with a medium build and short dark hair, wearing a white shirt and khaki shorts. Following the incident, Chief Nicholas T. Zeoli confirmed that officers searched the area but were unable to locate the man.
