Naomi Watts Celebrates Son Sasha’s Milestone 18th Birthday
Naomi Watts is feeling nostalgic as she commemorates her son Sasha’s 18th birthday. Taking to Instagram on July 25, the 56-year-old actress shared heartfelt wishes and a series of touching photographs. “Happy birthday sweet, darling @sashapeteschreiber,” she posted. “18 today—and ready for the world! Cannot believe it. Have so loved watching you grow into the kindest, most wonderful young man. Watts shares Sasha and his sister Kai, 16, with ex-partner Liev Schreiber. The couple, who separated in 2016 after 11 years together, continues to co-parent amicably. “We’re doing things very differently,” she remarked in a 2019 interview. “I’m pretty proud of us.”
Schreiber, now 57, welcomed a daughter, Hazel Bee, with his wife, Taylor Neisen, in July 2023. Meanwhile, Watts has been open about her fertility struggles and advocacy for perimenopause. Reflecting on her journey, she revealed in her book, Dare I Say It, the challenges she faced in conceiving, including a miscarriage before finally welcoming Sasha in 2007 and Kai in 2008.
