In addition to Bruce, Trump nominated former White House national security adviser Mike Waltz as his U.N. envoy. Waltz’s confirmation is also pending, and he is expected to lead alongside Bruce. Waltz previously faced controversy that resulted in his ousting from his previous position but has since been nominated for this significant role.
