Trump to Attend Ryder Cup, Backs Captain Bradley’s Participation

ATLANTA (AP) — President Donald Trump has confirmed he will attend the opening round of the highly-anticipated Ryder Cup on September 26 at Bethpage State Park, New York. In a post on his social media platform, Trump expressed support for U.S. captain Keegan Bradley, suggesting he should also play in the tournament.

The Ryder Cup, renowned for its electrifying atmosphere, is expected to be particularly lively this year due to the venue’s reputation for passionate fans. Trump’s presence is not surprising given his enthusiasm for golf and previous engagement with PGA officials. Earlier this year, he met with PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan and golf legend Tiger Woods in an effort to bridge divides created by LIV Golf’s emergence.

Adding to the intrigue, Bradley, who is contemplating being the first captain to play since Arnold Palmer in 1963, has recently bolstered his case by winning twice in the last year and currently contending for the FedEx Cup title. "Keegan Bradley should DEFINITELY be on the American Ryder Cup Team — As Captain!!!" Trump stated, underscoring the excitement leading up to the event. Bradley’s lineup announcement is set for Wednesday.
