Local Art Studio Launches Fall Workshop Series
HUNTINGTON — Gray Catbird Pottery & Art Studio has unveiled its fall workshop schedule, featuring a variety of art classes led by local artisans at its location on 22 East Main Street in Huntington. The first offering, "Exploring Drawing" by Joanie Ryan, will take place Monday evenings from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on September 8, 15, 22, and 29.
Participants can look forward to an engaging curriculum: the initial sessions will focus on charcoal techniques, composition tips, and still-life setups. As the month progresses, students will advance to pen and ink techniques on September 22, followed by an exploration of figurative drawing, emphasizing drapery, gesture, and movement on September 29.
Classes are available as standalone sessions or as a package, with pricing set at $75 for two classes or $130 for all four. For those eager to enhance their artistic skills, these workshops provide a perfect opportunity to learn from a skilled instructor in a supportive environment.
Interested individuals are encouraged to register early to secure their spot in this enriching fall experience.
