Several high school soccer teams in the Bay State, Bi-County, Catholic Conference, Churchill, Holley, Moriarty, Schmid, Smith, Tri-County North, Tri-County South, and Independents divisions faced off on Thursday, delivering some exciting matches.

In the Bay State – Carey Division, Framingham High School tied with Wellesley High School 1-1, while Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School defeated Newton North High School 2-0. Weymouth High School also clinched a 2-1 victory over Natick High School.

Braintree High School secured a 3-2 win against Milton High School in the Bay State – Herget Division, while Needham High School dominated with a 4-0 win over Walpole High School. Weymouth High School, in another division matchup, also triumphed with a 2-1 victory over Natick High School.

In the Bi-County division, Westfield Technical Academy triumphed over Taconic High School with a score of 3-0, while Drury High School overcame Renaissance School with a 6-2 win. McCann Technical High School also secured a narrow 1-0 victory over Ware Jr./Sr. High School.

The Catholic Conference division saw St. John’s High School (Shrewsbury) narrowly defeat Boston College High School 2-1, while St. John’s Prep dominated Malden Catholic High School with a 7-0 win.

Overall, Thursday’s high school soccer matchups provided thrilling competition and showcased the talent and determination of these student-athletes.
