The actor’s dedication and commitment to the project impressed organizers, who initially thought they would only get a few hours with him. A pre-recorded video showed Cruise boarding a jet, parachuting onto the Hollywood sign, and completing the handoff ceremony with skateboarder Jagger Eaton and a concert by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The star-studded closing ceremony also featured performances by Billie Eilish, Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre.
