Elon Musk’s SpaceX faces lawsuit from Cards Against Humanity over Texas land

Cards Against Humanity has filed a lawsuit against SpaceX CEO Elon Musk for $15 million, accusing SpaceX employees of trespassing and damaging land near the U.S.-Mexico border that the company purchased in 2017. The land was bought using donations to prevent the area from being used for former President Donald Trump’s plans to build a border wall. SpaceX allegedly made the land available for its vehicles to park and work by removing vegetation and placing gravel over the soil without permission. Cards Against Humanity stated that if the lawsuit is successful, they will share the net proceeds with the 150,000 people who donated to the land purchase. The company has created a website with more information about the lawsuit and shared photos of the land before and after it was allegedly damaged by SpaceX. SpaceX has not yet responded to requests for comment.
