The National Weather Service predicts that the Boston area will experience drier weather at the beginning of next week as fall sets in. Meteorologist Candice Hrencecin stated that after a few days of rain, the region will have a break on Monday and Tuesday before the next chance of rain towards the middle of the week. Temperatures will be seasonably cool with highs in the mid to upper 60s and lows in the 50s, possibly reaching 70 degrees later in the week. The coastal flooding risk from higher tides with the full moon on Sunday is expected to decrease as tides lower. However, there will still be an elevated rip current risk due to easterly winds.
A moderate chance of rain is predicted for Wednesday night through Thursday, with the potential for a drier weekend ahead. The forecasts are uncertain beyond that point. In other news, the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute dedicated a peace trail in Dorchester over the weekend. The organization’s inaugural peace trail spans from Christopher Road to Bowdoin Street, marking a significant milestone for the community.
