Last night, a shooting occurred at the Mildred Hailey Housing project in Jamaica Plain, resulting in the death of an adult male. Police responded to multiple gunshots and found the victim with a gunshot wound who later died in the hospital. Deputy Superintendent Paul McLaughlin stated that the crime scene was extensive, spanning the entire development, with multiple weapons recovered and one individual arrested for carrying a firearm and outstanding warrants. Authorities are now asking for the public’s help in solving the case as they continue their investigation. The crime scene extended to Heath Street, where additional weapons were discovered.
