A massage therapist at Health Spa in Auburn was arrested for allegedly committing indecent assault and battery on a customer. The incident occurred on October 6th when the customer reported that Guangyo Gao, 22, of Shrewsbury, forced her to touch him inappropriately during a massage session.
The Auburn Police Department charged Gao with indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14 following the customer’s complaint. The spa is located at 385 Southbridge St. at the Auburn Mall.
The victim’s report of the incident led to Gao’s arrest, and he was taken into custody on October 6th. The Auburn Police Department is conducting further investigations into the matter.
