The prestigious National Dog Show competition, featuring 2,000 dogs of 205 different breeds, will air on NBC on November 28. The event, starting at 12 p.m. ET following the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, will see dogs compete for the title of “Best in Show.” Viewers without cable can watch for free through FuboTV, DirecTV Stream, or Sling, with promotional offers available. Plans for Peacock start at $7.99 a month, but Black Friday offers allow streaming for $1.99 a month. The competition, run by the Kennel Club of Philadelphia and authorized by the American Kennel Club, includes dogs in seven groups based on original breed functions. Dogs are judged on appearance, temperament, and structure according to their breed’s standard. The seven “First in Group” winners then compete for the “Best in Show” title and $20,000 prize. Hosted by John O’Hurley, Mary Carillo, and David Frei, the two-hour event promises excitement and entertainment. Viewers can also enjoy the show through platforms like FuboTV, DirecTV Stream, and Sling for a variety of streaming options.
