Mysterious drone sightings continue to be reported in New Jersey, with recent sightings near a reservoir in Hunterdon County, Monmouth, and Ocean counties, as well as in Philadelphia-area townships like Cherry Hill and Evesham. State and federal officials are investigating these sightings and have stated that the drones do not pose a known threat to public safety. The FBI has joined the investigation after a long list of sightings, including a possible fixed-wing aircraft flying along the Raritan River. The FAA has issued a temporary flight restriction prohibiting drone flights in certain areas.
Local residents have reported seeing drones, with one witness, Jonelle Ferentinos, seeing them for several weeks while out for nightly dog walks. She observed multiple drones flying around her neighborhood on different nights.
Authorities are urging anyone who sees drones to report sightings to the FBI helpline or submit tips and video footage online. Despite law enforcement’s assurance that there is no current threat, residents like Ferentinos remain concerned and are looking for answers. The investigation into the mysterious drone sightings in New Jersey continues, with collaboration between local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
