The New England Patriots have made significant changes to their coaching staff under head coach Mike Vrabel. They have added experienced coaches, including former Bills and Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone, former Bears interim head coach Thomas Brown, former Titans offensive line coach Jason Houghtaling, and former Florida A&M defensive coordinator Milton Patterson. Marrone, with a 38-60 record as an NFL head coach, brings a wealth of experience to the team, having previously worked with Patriots offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien.
Brown, who has worked as a tight ends coach and passing game coordinator in recent years, has had coaching experience at various college and NFL teams. Houghtaling, previously with the Titans, brings a background in offensive line coaching. Patterson, who most recently coached at Florida A&M, has experience at multiple colleges.
Vrabel has also retained some key members of the coaching staff, including offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels and defensive coordinator Terrell Williams. The additions and changes aim to strengthen the Patriots’ coaching squad for the upcoming season.
