The 11th annual Levitate Music and Arts Festival at the Marshfield Fairgrounds in Marshfield this weekend offered concertgoers a wide array of food options from more than 20 food trucks. From barbecue and handmade pizza to baked goods and smoothies, attendees had a variety of delicious choices to choose from while enjoying the music.
Some of the standout food options at the festival included The Big Sexy from The Broccoli Bar, a completely vegan meal with stir-fried, tempura-battered broccoli and dumplings. Another must-try was the Blue Buffalo grilled cheese from Cheese Louise, featuring Muenster, buffalo chicken, celery, and blue cheese dressing on sourdough bread.
For those with a sweet tooth, the vanilla mango vegan ice cream from Far Out Ice Cream, a New Zealand-style ice cream stand with vegan options, was a hit. Other popular options included the Lobby Pop from Highroller Lobster Co, featuring a whole lobster tail warmed in butter and served on a stick, and the heart-shaped Oreo Cheesecake Empanada from Matilda Empanadas.
Wonton Tacos also offered braised pork tacos in a crunchy wonton taco shell, providing a unique and appetizing option for festival attendees.
