The Russian River in Sonoma County reached flood stage, leading to evacuations. Two storm-related deaths occurred in Sonoma County on Tuesday. A mudslide caused a house to slide into the river, while another landslide destroyed a home and trapped residents inside. Road crews worked to clear debris from streets. The region had a brief respite on Wednesday but faced another storm on Thursday, with more rain and potential flooding predicted. An additional storm is expected early next week.
