Caroline Driscoll, a 20-year-old Boston resident, shares her inspiring story of overcoming anxiety and learning challenges through running and reading in preparation for the 129th Boston Marathon. Despite struggling with anxiety and learning disabilities, Caroline found solace and strength in running and the Boston Public Library. Through daily training runs and half marathons, she has conquered her anxiety and excelled academically at Boston College. Caroline will be running the marathon alongside her older brother, Jefferson, who has been her greatest support and role model. With hard work, dedication, and faith, Caroline believes that anything is possible. Her journey from struggling with anxiety and learning challenges to becoming a resilient and accomplished runner and student showcases the power of determination and perseverance. The Boston Marathon, which will take place in March 2025, will be a significant milestone in Caroline’s journey of personal growth and triumph.
