Motorcyclist Sustains Life-Threatening Injuries in I-95 Crash
Attleboro, MA – A motorcycle accident on Interstate 95 Thursday morning has left one rider with life-threatening injuries, according to the city’s fire department. The incident occurred on the southbound side of the highway, close to the Rhode Island state line, at approximately 9:51 a.m.
First responders arrived at the scene to discover the motorcyclist and the vehicle involved in the collision approximately 500 feet away from the point of impact. The motorcycle operator was quickly transported to a nearby hospital to receive urgent medical care. Fortunately, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was reported to be unharmed.
As authorities begin their investigation, Massachusetts State Police are looking into the circumstances surrounding the accident. Witnesses and anyone with additional information are encouraged to come forward to aid in the inquiry.
