Police Release Timeline in the Death of Emilie Kiser’s Son

The Chandler Police Department reported the drowning death of 3-year-old Trigg Kiser, son of social media influencer Emilie Kiser. The incident occurred while Trigg was playing and tripped into the family’s pool, where he was submerged for nearly seven minutes before his father, Brady Kiser, located him. At the time, Emilie was out with friends, leaving Brady at home with Trigg and their newborn son, Theodore.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office decided not to pursue charges against Brady Kiser, citing insufficient evidence to support a “reasonable likelihood of conviction.” This decision followed a recommendation from the Chandler Police, which had proposed a class 4 felony charge of child abuse against him. According to the police report, Trigg had been outside alone for over nine minutes before the incident, and his father was unsure how long he lost sight of Trigg—stating it could have been three to five minutes.

Trigg was pulled from the pool on May 12 and tragically passed away on May 18 due to accidental drowning. The case drew significant public interest, partly due to Emilie Kiser’s online prominence with millions of followers on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Since her son’s passing, Emilie has refrained from making public statements and disabled comments on most of her social media posts, while Brady has made his profile private.

The story has received national attention, highlighting the intersection of personal tragedy and public interest given the family’s social media visibility.
