Harris is expected to announce her choice before Wednesday, Aug. 7, and plans to tour battleground states with her selection. Other contenders in the betting market include Andrew Beshear, Mark Kelly, and Pete Buttigieg. The odds provided by various bookmakers show Shapiro as the front-runner, but the race remains unpredictable as the final decision approaches.
