An 83-year-old woman, identified as Karol Kay DeGraw, died in an aircraft crash in Napoleon Township, Michigan. The incident occurred on her private airstrip, where she was alone in her gyroplane at the time of the crash. DeGraw was last seen taking off from the airstrip, but her intended destination is unknown, although police believe she planned to stay in the Napoleon Township area. The township police, along with the Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board, are currently investigating the cause of the crash. Napoleon Township is located approximately 85 miles west of Detroit.
