Massachusetts man accused of robbing 2 cars after missing court appearance, police say

Aiden Sanders, an 18-year-old man from Orleans, has been charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering motor vehicles, larceny, robbery, and trespassing by the Barnstable Police Department. This comes after several vehicles were broken into in the town on Monday night into Tuesday morning. Sanders was identified as the suspect and arrested in connection with the break-ins near Main Street in Hyannis.

This is not Sanders’ first run-in with the law; he was already facing charges in connection with breaking into several vehicles prior to these latest incidents. With the addition of the two new robbery charges, Sanders now faces a total of four counts of breaking and entering motor vehicle, four counts of larceny from a motor vehicle, two counts of unarmed robbery, and trespassing.

The Barnstable Police Department has not released details on the items stolen from the vehicles or the value of the stolen goods. However, they have warned residents to be vigilant and take precautions to secure their vehicles to prevent such incidents in the future.

Sanders is scheduled to appear in court to face these new charges. It is essential for the community to work together with law enforcement to prevent crimes like these from happening and to hold individuals accountable for their actions. The Barnstable Police Department continues to investigate the case and urges anyone with information to come forward.
