The Trump campaign believes Kennedy’s endorsement will benefit Trump in Nevada the most, potentially garnering him an additional 28,000 votes based on current polling data. One pollster suggests that Kennedy’s decision may have only a marginal impact nationally. Kennedy’s campaign has faced scandals and controversies, including accusations of sexual assault, health issues, and a questionable incident involving a dead bear cub. In response to his endorsement of Trump, five of Kennedy’s siblings criticized his decision as a betrayal of their family values. Despite this, Trump thanked Kennedy for his support during a campaign stop in Las Vegas. Kennedy’s polling numbers have been declining, and his decision to suspend his campaign has received mixed reactions.
