Westfield, MA – The Westfield Bombers celebrated a much-needed revival on Monday, decisively defeating Holyoke 10-0 in a six-inning baseball game at Bullens Field. After a two-game slump marked by a combined score of 19-1 against Pittsfield and Longmeadow, the Bombers rebounded vigorously. Patrick Moore and Ryan Garvey each contributed two hits, with Moore also scoring twice and driving in a run. Isaiah Gomez added a double, a run scored, and another RBI. Starting pitcher Anthony Roberts dominated on the mound, throwing a three-hitter over 5 1/3 innings, while striking out nine and walking four. Nolan Wondolowski completed the game with two-thirds of an inning in scoreless relief.

In girls tennis, the Bombers edged Agawam 3-2, sweeping the doubles matches. Mirabella Prefontaine secured a crucial victory in third singles, defeating Nawra Ahmed 6-3, 6-1. Kendall and Lia O’Brien set the tone by winning at first singles, 6-2, 6-3, while Sania Bhujel and Lilyanna Vaddy triumphed in second doubles with a commanding 6-3, 6-0 win.
