Boston’s Summer Concert Lineup Promises Diverse Musical Experiences
As summer kicks into high gear, Boston is set to host an exciting array of concerts ranging from intimate rock clubs to massive venues like Fenway Park. Music fans can look forward to a vibrant season filled with talents catering to varied tastes.
Kicking off the summer on May 18 at the Sinclair in Cambridge is Rachel Chinouriri, whose latest single, “All I Ever Asked,” brings refreshing summer vibes. On June 5, Symphony Hall welcomes Orville Peck for Pride Night, showcasing his blend of contemporary country with a special duet alongside Willie Nelson.
Hozier takes center stage at Fenway Park on June 23 and 24, asserting his place as a modern rock icon amidst a diverse lineup. Meanwhile, J-pop meets heavy metal with Babymetal on June 25 at MGM Music Hall. Jessie Reyez will bring her eclectic sound to the House of Blues on June 28 and 29.
Other highlights include Trombone Shorty’s New Orleans-inspired performance on July 20, and the Scissor Sisters reunion at a Kesha concert on July 24. The season concludes with Uncle Charlie’s R&B Cookout on September 13, featuring nostalgia-laden performances from legends like Babyface and Charlie Wilson.
